Got a bit more work done on this. There was a change in plans due to an issue with the 6.0l. Tyler ended up bringing me the 5.3 he had. I may try to convince him to turbo this once its in and going! Managed to pull the brake stuff off and start working on swapping this to a 6-speed. First thing is to swap the pedals out to add the third one. This was a fun job under the dash...haha Need to get one more pedal cover since the old brake one is too big. Then I bolted up the twin disk clutch and mated the trans and engine together and dropped that bitch in! These damn H3 pans are a pain since they are really deep where the pick up is. Its the same pan we used on my brother's S10. After some fighting with it and removal of the front bumper for more reach, we managed to get it set down in the bay.

Pan is good. I have to mess with it more to get the mounts to line up. Haven't messed with the longtubes yet until its at least bolted down.

Did some more work on it this weekend. Tyler decided to put a cam in it for a little more power. So I started swapping the springs over to duals. Also got the truck crank pulley off and installed the starter. Being a junkyard engine its pretty dirty so I've been periodically cleaning things off. I'll keep the updates coming and some photos as progress continues.
