So the bottom end is still ok?

So far nothing has looked out of the ordinary.
if I get my car moving by this weekend i want to drive it over and steal your hood and fenders lol
do it show him who is the boss
Nice, because I remember everyone giving me shit, trolling me, and calling me a complete retard when I suspected that there may not be anything wrong with the bottom end. I should've taken screenshots.
I know you're kind of new, but as an engineer I believe that you should understand that any time you have a major failure that could have run metal through the entire engine, it is probably in your best interest to check it out. Or just potentially run it on a scratched bearing and kill the crank, whatever.
agreed. But I don't think Dan was saying I shouldn't take a look, but more so that it didn't hurt it more than lead on.
There is no metal that went through the motor, there is nothing to worry about. No broken valves, no chips missing out of the Pistons, it's fine.
lmao, I never said to not check the oil or cut open the oil filter or not check the bottom end.
cancelled my previous order with the valves and springs cause they were on "backorder" for 2 more weeks. Placed a new order and they shipped today and will be here on friday. I however did not receive the correct gasket kit, which includes valve stem seals. So I have to wait for that to show up before I can get the head finished. As soon as that is done, time to assemble
get it together benson! YEAR OF THE 240S IS UPON US
its our year!!!

He's just jelly fellas!
my car was never down for being broken until when it broke on the dyno. I did have a relay go out once, but fixed it easily. Laziness on the other hand.....
Someone is going to the machine shop tomm to give them presents!
Love it! Ortiz should bring me that brake reservoir tomorrow =)
waiting on the head to be completed.
