Howdy. I am new here (obviously) and just wanted to check in.
I have been aware of this place for a while but just now signed up.
Die hard Chevy guy. Dyed in the wool racer.
Currently building 2 engines for project cars. 1st is a 70 350 Olds for a Cuttlas clone a friend is restoting and mine is a old school 388 chev stroker with a lot of goodies.

Look forward to some good conversations and sharing.

I am deep into a 1964 Impala S/S and a 1970 Cutlass Convertible. Doing the drive train on the Cut.
The Impala is mine. Engine trans are done and have most of the bits/pieces for the rear end. Pics soon.

I am re-purposing the 388 stroker we were going to run in the 70 Camaro bracket car but never finished. It is old school by todays standards but I had it. It was fresh and is full of good parts.
I did pill the hi-domes out and put a set of forged flat tops in it to pul some of the bite out of it. Still just a tick north of 11 to 1 with the heads and deck height.
Scat crank, 6" rods, forged pistons, world heads port matched to a Holley air gap.
Comp solid lifter valve train with all the goods. Full MSD package.
    150 HP sniper plate.
4L60-E full of the good parts.
12 bolt that I have not narrowed yet. Have all the internals new in the box but no axles until I figure out how much wheel tube I can put in a convertible "X" frame.
    Still a ways to go.

I can get these pretty reasonably through connections but I am an old school warrior.
