Got bored one night recently and bought some shit. lol

No...not headers. In time. Will post pics when I get all the shit installed one of these days. Time has been slim for working on the car lately as I am busy working and looking to get the house ready to sell next season sometime as we are moving.

Some shit from MMD, Corsa, and Ford Performance. Nothing major yet. Just totally some ancillary items more or less.

Nope. One thing at a time. I've just been enjoying the car as a daily for the most part.

Nope. Currently working on front suspension bracing upper and lower and IRS vertical links/control arms and IRS subframe bracing at the moment.

    It's a rental. :dunno:

We'll have to get together one of these days soon actually! It's been a while, I know.

wait a mustang owner actually upgrading the suspension for better handling before engine mods. I cant believe what I am reading.

You going to take it to any auto X events? or track days?

I have generally always been backwards like that with suspension first, unless the car comes with a decent suspension.

I don't know about Auto X...kinda been there done that to some degree, but it is the cheapest form of an "outing" for sure as for around $50 I can do that with sandwiches included. lol That being said...its kind of like wanting full out sex and settling for a 2 minute jerk session in the shithouse in comparison to a track day so far as seat time and excitement and such.

Therefore...I hope to be chasing Hocky eventually as I was wishing I had more HP to keep up. Probably wont be able to afford tons of track days though given they cost a bit more. But this is the direction I am looking at anyway.

You don't need tons of horsepower to run quick or have a good time. You'l be fine. Just do it.

What I do need is some smaller rims and wider tires possibly and a tire budget. lol Rollin on OEM Upgrade 20's now...18-19's seem to be what their performance pack models run I believe. Still looking into that, haven't done a lot of research yet as I am not there yet anyway on just how big of a tire I can cram under this car on a 10-10.5" wide wheel.

Plus....I may be in better shape tire wise on choices on 20's than 19's from what I am hearing....still gotta look into that.

Ok. After some delays with garage space and tools, I got some help from Jeremy at The Swap Shop over the weekend and installed a few suspension items. (Not images from my car but borrowed from net as I didn't take any pics)

    Steeda IRS Bracing:

Prior to that I had already installed Steeda jacking rails:

A basic black Ford Performance Strut Bar (who needs to spend extra for polished shiney shit that costs $100 more and works the exact same as the OEM black one)

About there...have one more item and I will be ready to head out and give it my best....

Oh...forgot to mention earlier...in expectation for Putnam....I installed a Ford Performance Oil - Air Separator as well to keep the engine from getting mucked up.

Last item up before I believe I will be ready to go....(sans tires...but I can get around that for a minute and have fun anyway as hey...guessing a few events and I will need that anyway.

    Ford Performance Track Handling Pack:

    TrackSusp.jpg

And am guessing after I get started ... it will need a brake kit as well.

Looking good. Does that exhaust system come back together for a x pipe twice? looks like in the photo you have the one just in front of the rear end and then it looks like in the photo it could come back together just after the top of the pic?

It's a double helix x pipe that corsa uses in their systems.
