Default 1986 Conquest TSI [5spd/115k miles]

I'm done with vehicles for a while, and this is the last toy I have to sell. I picked it up from Wisconsin over last summer, and it has been sitting in a garage waiting for me to do something with it. I've driven it here and there.

1986 Chrysler Conquest TSI
-Red Exterior
-Black Interior
-5 Speed
-Widebody
-115k miles
-Stock lip all there ( removed side pieces to get on dolly ) I also have an unpainted, still in the plastic 1 piece replacement lip. These are hard to find and NOT cheap!

Car is 100% stock with a turbo XS blow off valve. It has newer injectors and seals, and is in pretty good shape for a conquest. There is no rust on the rails. Only a small spec on the driver side wheel well, and a small spot near the bottom on the passenger, but none of it is through or cancered like most of them.

The interior is in great shape, even the equalizer and tape player still work. The auto climate control lights up and everything works as it should.

All power options work, windows go up and down fast. The only thing wrong with the car is that it needs a new brake master as the current one is blown, so the brakes don't work till the very end ( near the floor ). Pretty minor repair, and the car is still drivable, just wouldn't take it on open roads / traffic as stopping would be pretty hairy. Would suggest putting it on a dolly.

Bad:
-Damage on front bumper cover
-Dent on driver side fender
-Broken driver side tail light.
-spoiler faded

All of this damage occured from the previous owner. All pretty cheap things to replace if you're looking to get the car looking pristine.

PRICE: $1700

So just to clarify the car starts up and runs just fine? Good compression?

In 1993, I wanted to stick a TPI into one of these. At that point no one was doing anything with the FI cars to support an 18 yr old doing this swap.

Best of luck on the sale.

starts INSTANTLY. Not a single tick/knock/squeel, idles perfect, and drives great. I haven't beat on it, but boosts up to 4 psi or so. Didn't want to go too fast without brakes basically, lol.

Compression is perfect, not a single bit of smoke, or issues.

Wink Interested

I am very interested in this conquest. How is the clutch? Has it been serviced on a regular basis? What is the tire and brake condition? I've been looking for a conquest for quite some time. Where are you located. I would like to come and view the car sometime maybe this weekend. Please pm your number so we can arrange something. Thanks

Good luck with the sale. This would be a cool car for a swap.. something different then the ones you see everyday.

Oh trust me. I know. The interior needs a vacuum BAD. I was going to pull the seats out and do it, but when you have your wisdom teeth pulled, it's kinda the last thing on your list especially with a dry socket. I had enough energy to wash the car and take these pics before my face felt like I got hit with a sledgehammer.

Yea. I'm graduating and liquidating all my extra stuff and starting as light as possible in case I have to move across the country.
