Price: $5000

Description of item or items

This has been a great car for me, as I've owned it since '05 (~80k miles). It currently has 126k miles and still runs great. No mechanical problems and very few small cosmetic (small dings/dents on front fender), but still looks great after 12 years. Car runs and drives like a dream while still getting ~22 mpg combined. It is a real head turner, and sounds great to boot. I'm looking to get $5000 FIRM. The car blue books/Edmunds right around this price, without ANY modifications. I have a good $3000 in mods/$2000 in maintenance, of which I most if not all receipts. The car is currently located in Lafayette, but I travel back and forth to Indy frequently (with this car I might add). All of the maintenance has been done already, so this car should be care-free for many years to come. Below are lists of modifications and maintenance. You will NOT find another car in this condition, for this price in the area.

Modifications:
3sx Downpipe
3sx Testpipe
Custom 2.5" Dual catback exhaust (sounds very good)
3sx Lightweight Pulley
4.5" air intake
Plenum Spacer
Solid Motor Mounts
MSD 8.5mm wires/NGK spark plugs
18" DC rims (black with 2" polished lip)
Sony Xplod Headunit
Sony Xplod components all around (front and rear)
Leather Seat Conversion

Maintenance:
Timing belt and tensioner at ~97k miles
Water pump
New Clutch/pressure plate/transmission at 110k miles
Brand new OEM Rotors/Pads
New starter
Optima Redtop Battery
New alternator at 120k miles
Regular oil changes at 3000 miles

If you need any other pictures, please feel free to let me know.

Thanks man. They are great cars, it is just time for me to move onto something new.

I'm really hoping to pick up a Lincoln LS next (I need something more luxurious and comfortable).

You serious Ryan!? an LS? FTL! Shit I picked up my G35 sedan for 7100 at an auction. It needed some work... but it was well worth it. Not to be critical of your choices, but I'm saying if you want luxury and comfort, you've got plenty more options in the lower price range that aren't American, haha. My buddy is a mechanic for Pearson Ford in Indy... and he gets them in all the time with issues...

but more on topic of your post, good luck selling the car! I know Ive bumped into you several times.. you keep this car CLEAN!

oh and ps - stop by the house sometime soon and talk cars haha

Haha thanks Walls... she has been my baby for the past 4 years.

I know there are plenty of luxury cars out there in the $6-8k range, I just really liked the looks of the LS's. I hadn't heard of many problems, but if you say your mechanic friend deals with them all the time, I probably will stay away. I want something VERY reliable and yet comfortable. I've had enough "projects" to last me a couple of years, so I'm primarily wanting something newer.

Thanks for the bump!

Lincoln LS = Bad. You have to take the intake mani apart to change the spark plugs on the 6cyl. Thats about 5 hours labor. Not very wrench friendly. But nice car and good luck with the sale.
